what is a book text adventure

kind of the same to a text adventure but its in a book, a role-play game book in short . in the book whiles reading the narrative you also play it out.
say the book says there is a monster the difference between a normal book and a role-book is that you have to fight it. you get  instruction show in the beginning at the book. so you get you life bar damage bar and depending on the book magic or bullets this depends like I said on the book and what kind of setting its placed. most time you use a dice to help you play the book so basically its a video game in a book.
