research lord of the rings

looking at lord of the ring for research for my character I've been looking at Frodo and how the ring changes him. so he starts has a nice hobbit no corruptions kind of the same as the white Ork the white Ork lives away from the war and has biased oppion to any side. from do gets given the ring and heads to a village where as the ork has enough and starts his travel Frodo doesn't really have a choice where as i want the Ork to. Frodo see new things that he thought aren't possible i like this ideas I think the forst village will work well and will be a good idea. Frode is weak he cant fight and gets help in this obsitcal I don't want my characterised to be weak i want him to be able to fight. he starts to choose for him self at riverdell, he says "I will take the ring".

the choice you make are, will help, i will go this way and i wont help. frodo is a good guy the ork will be both  or one or another. Frodos medallion is sting i think mine will be his power. and his helper is Sam and the rest of the fellow ship, I want the ork to be on his own so he can be biased no one will say don't do this, its all up to him (you).

in the two tower you see the towel that the ring has got on him he's getting weaker again i don't want my character to get weak.  the film focuses more on his comrades such as Arragorn, Leglas and Gimley,
mine is just on the Ork. the villain for Frodo is Golam and the ring were as mine is the enemies and the wrong choices.

the last instalment the return of the king, frodo is nearly at the end of his journey the ring is winning and he gets a new enemy her the giant spider, i like the thought of a giant monster. at the end he has to make a final choice to destroy the ring or keep it, i want a final choice in the narrative mine will be iver the decision to save the world and kill his mother or save his mum and become evil.

Propps Characters:

the hero

the white ork the journey he will take to end the war

the villain

there are a lot if enemy you fight but the main villain i would think is the master of evil

the doner

is your mother he gives you her powers and the shows you to fight

the helper

is the comrade used in your power and ZEN

i haven't really got the princess, but at the end when you have to save your mother in a way she becomes the princess for a moment.

the despacher

you are because you want to go to the war but also the witch sends you on your journey to find Zen

the false hero

i would say you are if you pick the side fo evil.

The
th

evaluation

I’m pretty happy with the work I have produced. There are things I could have done defiantly also thing i could of changed. Starting with the amount of options I have in my narrative. To be fair I was focusing on the main plot live leading the main character (the white Ork) though the story, in the story he does head the wrong way by the choices you make. But not a lot this is one or maybe the main thing I could have changed by adding more options. I think I have quite a lot of fight scenes to make up for it. The fight scenes is the main thing I used to show it’s a game rather than a complete story. I like the story I’m not very good when it comes to writing and grammar but for my first attempt to make a narrative think I have done pretty well I like the characters but mainly the journey he takes to fine himself, and the decisions in front of him (you). It’s hard to make a story that makes you feel that you are in their shoes and think about your decision, I haven’t quit got its right throughout the narrative I think I would have to make the characters and the environments you are placed in with a tone more depth, sadly this is a skill I have not got. Maybe in time I can develop my skill to put the depth that is missing.
I did look at the lord of the ring Frodo bagging for inspiration how his travels changed him with the ring, he started out as an innocent young guy (hobbit) but throughout the story he slowly becomes evil, the ring is changing him I was focusing on this concept but instead of something else doing so my idea was himself (you), he was the evil and good one. Like the game infamous if you do something bad you get evil powers. In my narrative I have done this and I think I have pulled it off quite well. Like I have said be for its my first attempt trying this there could be many things I could of changed and done different but I tried to keep it simple so I wouldn’t confuses myself in the process of putting the fighting in the narrative.
Im happy with the first act how and why you are what you are and why you are doing the things you do. Heading to place and seeing new things the forest village reminds me of the shire from lord of the ring but instead of the houses in hills they are in trees.
The second act is good ass well because the people in these villages are always happy with the war and you so the choice of being good and evil batters on if you like the people.
The second act I think the part with the choice of saving your mother and choice her or the world was quite good.
Those are the parts that are most important I feel if I was better at writing it could have been so much better, maybe more time I could have done so. But all in all I him happy what I have make.

The Structure of the story

What happens in Act I (Setup)?
The Exposition in the three act structure and the state of equilibrium at the outset in Torodev's theory of Narrative:
This is when the good witch rescues The Ork from becoming evil and where the player becomes The Ork. The rescue takes place within a war between good and evil. Orks are always bad but the witch changes the outcome of the evil being put into the Ork by rescuing him whilst the factory is being destroyed. This sets the story in motion
The Main character in the three act structure and a disruption of the equilibrium by some action in Torodev's theory of Narrative:
You are the main character and The Ork. The objective is to figure out who you are (either good or evil) and whether you are a stereotypical Ork.
Dramatic premise--
An Ork who is being raised in a war of good and evil but has the chance to question the structure of this world and change it for better or worse.
The Dramatic situation in the three act structure and a recognition that there has been a disruption in Torodev's theory of Narrative:
The circumstances surrounding the action. To travel to the war to find out what is happening and making choices that might be good for you but not for others. This may cause death or freedom.
An Inciting Incident in the three act structure and an attempt to repair the disruption in Torodev's theory of Narrative:

You decide you have had enough of wondering what's going on and travel to the war.

Plot Point 1 - Occurs when the evil doesn't get put in you and changes your direction in life.

What happens in Act II (Confrontation)?
Obstacles--In the second act, the main character encounters obstacle after obstacle that prevent him from achieving his dramatic need. You being an Ork is one of the main obstacles because people judge you and look at you differently. This leads to them leading you the wrong way.
First Culmination--Interruption of the path to arrive at the war but not to stop you getting there. This happens throughout the middle section and a little towards the end with misdirections and conflicts.
Midpoint--There is not one major event, there are a few conflicts which are low points for you.
Plot Point 2

act 3
What happens in Act III (Resolution)?
Climax (Second Culmination)--
You finally get to commander Zen and the evil comes to fight and you have to make a decision to either save a person you love and trust by joining the bad side or letting her die because she tells you to become good.
Denouement--
If you save your mother you have become evil, if you don't save your mother and become good you have saved many others from evil.

The end - return of the equilibrium when everyone is happy

mapping

start as child with no clue of the war that going on in the would grow up knowing that you have the power to win the war game mainly set in villages towns choosing to be come good or evil. Il have to describe the villages with depth and all so the characters. Il try to make ten villages. And my be 15 characters to make the decision to become good or bad, they will have to be good people and bad people but also it would be really fun to mix them up a bit so you may have to think about your decision, hopefully this will make the game better and less reparative. First hand full of villages will be the start of the game were you don’t really know people and people are really mean and confusing Half way through the villages and the plot you make your final decision to become good or bad but at this time you can you kind of chosen what side you are already. Last part you are now good or evil depending where you what you chosen. And you have to face the boss to win for your side. I want to be albe to do this fight by using luck with the dice and using your powers to defeat the boss

planing

you play as a Ork that's has been born with a light side so instead of just being a bad guy he has the choose of doing good this is the concept. that the chooses he has in his life are  good and bad.

good side

help defeat the the evil king and bring peace to the world

bad side

 become the evil king

you start in  middle of know where with the person who is looking after you tells you that you will be the one who will decide who wins the war. knowing this growing up you  training  how to fight for the good or for the bad.

the story has to paths left or right the bad side is left and the good side is right.
the game will send you though towns battles, you will meet people who you will want to help and people you wont.
find people that need your help they will give you money to help people, bribe them depends on what you needed to be done.

health bar
good evil bar you get different powers

evil power:-

blow people up
control people
bribe less using fear to take
fire attacks

good powers

knock out people
allies call on people to help you
force push
turn invisible

little presentation end of Christmas

the path

my work is about a Ork who has been born with the choice of doing good. instead of the stereotypical Ork
this is the premiss of the game. Which path are you going to choose.

good or bad you choice. depending on what you pick the story will change, how you approach people and do things, you get a power which will help. so example you need something and you can use a power to make the person fear you and tell you what you need to know.

who things work

you will need a dice and paper to right down what health and damage you and the enemies is.

How it works

Everything good and bad choose you make will give you a empathy point.

A sentence will pop and tell you that you will get a empathy point and depending what it is as in good or bad you will gain a point

Example so maybe 10 points will give you the power of blowing people you and to be able to us the power you have to role the six.
powers will be used in battles.

Save this women from the burning house coursed by evil orks

“Run to house”

You are now in front of the house

“Enter the house”

You are now inside the house the women is in front of you screaming for your help

“Grab women”

You have grabbed the women

“Leave house”

You and the women are out the house, women thanks you hives you £10 and you have gained and unlocked the power to blow up people by rolling a 6 with the dice

But oh no the ork that set the house on fire is behind you and is going to attack.

You are in a fight now.

His health bar is full to13

Each attack take 1 point damage A attack is any dice number that is not a power number shown below.
So if you roll 5 he will take 1 damage , but now you have blow up power when rolling a 6 it will take 6 damage so instead from the 13.

The evil ork is about to attack

“block”

The attack was blocked

“Attack”

Dice roll 6 with blow up power damage 6

Ork cant block blow up power is health is now down to one bar

He attacks using a axe even with block attack will course damage of 2
Your health is now 15.

“Attack”

so on....

list of all power damage and weapon damage

Damage of weapons and powers

Sword damage 1

Axe damage 2 heavy weapon

Blow people up damage 6  get a 6.
Control people  damage 5 get 4
Bribe less using fear to take information get 1
Fire attacks damge  dames 3 get 2

Good powers

Knock out people 6  get a 6.
Allies call on people to help you damage 3 get 2
Force push 5 get 4
Turn invisible get 6 walk past fight/ no fight

normal attack and if you don't have a power then its still a normal tack when rolling that number.
3 5 have no powers.
